Mealtimes at Winthorpe Hall are an enjoyable and social time of the day, we find it very important time for our residents mental wellbeing and care.

Food you’ll love to eat

All our menus offer wholesome, freshly cooked, appetising and nutritionally balanced meals with different choices every day. We are constantly changing our menus to offer variety and choice, our residents will always will eat something that they love!

Our chefs are very experienced and cook a variety of food choices to suit all tastes, dietary and religious needs. They have a great understanding of the nutritional requirements of each resident and will make sure their needs are met accordingly.

We understand that set meal times may not be convenient for every resident, so we are fully prepared to offer flexibility of what works best for you or your loved one.

We make mealtimes a happy occasion and will try and accommodate any request, no matter how small.

We are proud to have achieved 5* award for food hygiene standards.

Main course: Fish Pie, roast potatoes and two fresh vegetables of the day
Alternative: Quiche, roast potatoes and side salad
Sweet: Triamisu Cake

Tuesday

Main course: Cumberland Pie, mashed potatoes with vegetables
Alternative: Homemade soup with bacon or sausage bap
Sweet: Jam Roly Poly

Wednesday

Main course: Chicken and Mushroon Pie, gravy, boiled potatoes and vegatables
Alternative: Macaroni Cheese, side salad
Sweet: Strawberry Jelly with Fruit

Thursday

Main course: Pork Casserole, boiled potatoes with mixed vegatables
Alternative: Cauliflower and Cheese Sauce, vegetables
Sweet: Fruit Strudle and Ice Cream

Friday

Main course: Bacon, mashed potatoes, carrots and fried or boiled cabbage
Alternative: Fishcakes, chunky chips, garden peas and parsley sauce
Sweet: Fruit Crumble and Custard

Saturday

Main course: Cumberland and Lincolnshire Sausages, onion gravymashed potatoes and vegetables
Alternative: Salad of the Day
Sweet: Lemon Tart and Custard

Sunday

Main course: Roast Chicken, sage and onion stuffing, roast potatoes and two vegetables of the day
Alternative: White Fish, boiled potatoes and two vegetables of the day
Sweet: Fruit Flan and Cream
